Notice to Bidders

Notice of Addendum No. 1 has been electronically issued via e-mail. This Addendum has additional forms and extends the Bid Due Date. This Bid Addendum will also be posted on Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County’s website:

Addendum No. 1 is hereby issued to provide changes, modifications, corrections, clarifications, as herein set forth, shall apply to the original Notice to Contractors /Invitation to Bid which was posted on November 21, 2024. Prospective Bidders need to review the Addendum in its entirety as well as the original Notice to Contractors, Bid

Schedule, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Proposal Forms, Specifications and Drawings described herein and shall be made part thereof and subject to the all requirements as if originally specified or drawn.

Receipt of Addendum No. 1 must be acknowledged on the form in the bid proposal in writing.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

This Invitation is for Sealed Bid Proposals to be submitted by eligible contractors to Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County (“the Agency”) for the tenant improvements of Blossom Valley Family Center.

Project Description

The Project is located at 399 Blossom Hill Road and involves the construction of new non-bearing partitions, structural support for moveable partitions and slab concrete infill, lighting and ceiling systems, power/data, finish materials, and related structural electrical mechanical, and plumbing. The facility will include flexible workstations for staff and community use, and private rooms for individual and group counseling, as well as a community meeting and training room for 100+ attendees (including neighborhood groups) that can be divided flexibly into smaller group rooms. The estimated construction term is four months. Work is anticipated to start at the latest January 13, 2025. 

The Project is to be carried out in accordance with this Invitation to Bid, compliance with Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, terms and conditions of the bid documents, official plans and specifications, and contract for construction.

1.Pre-Bid Meeting to be held virtually on Zoom – 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024

2. Site Visit to be held in person at location – 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024 

3. Deadline to deliver sealed bid proposals, certifications,
and bid bond – 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024 December 23, 2024 (new bid due date)
