Handicapables Program

The Handicapables Program of Catholic Charities is for adults and older adults with disabilities and provides opportunities for socialization within a group with common interests and concerns. Members enjoy a bi-monthly gathering that can include an optional Mass at a Parish within the Diocese of San Jose, lunch, group discussions, entertainment, and/or speakers. In addition, group outings are planned so members may attend cultural events, educational programs, and other recreational activities.

Eligibility

Adults with disabilities and residents of Santa Clara County.

Hours

Gatherings are usually on Saturdays between 10 am - 3 pm.

Languages Spoken

Members speak a variety of languages

Volunteer Opportunities
